A Social Commentary Poem: Fashionably Hate

Hate:

it is trendy,

right in your face on front display

and in back clearance on the cheap.

It’s the latest craze

and a staple

always in season.

Hate is hotter than a pair

of red bottomed Vuittons

and butt firming yoga pants.

Hate is more haute

than haute-couture,

AND more casual

than Forever 21.

Hate has a lot of stretch

like cotton-

AND is un-budging like leather.

AND amazingly, hate is

both sample size AND one size fits all.
