Entry # 6 : A new door opened. What’s behind?
Balboa, Newport Beach
Fun trip option for families, couples and solo travelers
Both a peninula and a beach, Balboa is the friendly, unassuming part of Newport Beach, California. The scenic Orange county peninsula stretches for 3 miles stretch, a harbor on one side and broad California beaches on the other. Activities to love here: riding the ferry, riding the carousel, eating Balboa ice cream bars or frozen chocolate bananas, birdwatching, surf or watch advent surfers try the waves at The Wedge, famed surfing sport with high swells.
