Poem: The 30th of May, 2020

Waxing poetic on yesterday, with the launch of the NASA/Space-X rocket and a Saturday night full of protests escalating to riots throughout America

Things are looking up,
We’re rising to our potential,
living up to our dreams celestial
Rocket launched, without a hiccup.
It’s out of this world.

Things are going down
We’re “rising up”, so it seems
but razing buildings and dreams
to ash in city and town.
What in the world?
